Richard A. Korver has been a lawyer since 2000. He is working at Richard Korver lawyers in Amsterdam where he is the head of the civil department. 
He is also the co-founder and chairman of the Landelijk Advocaten Netwerk Zeden Slachtoffers (LANZS). 

In 2012 his first book Recht van spreken was published by De Arbeiderspers. It focuses on improving the (legal) position of victims of serious crimes. In 2020 Arbeiderspers published Dicht bij huis, which Richard co-wrote with Iva Bicanic. This book focuses on the support of children who suffered from sexual abuse.
