Carol Rock (1972) is a Dutch journalist, and columnist. She has worked for a wide range of Dutch TV-shows, and has written columns for well-known Dutch magazines. She also works as a America-watcher for Dutch media, with a special focus on American culture and politics. She and her family have lived in the US for nine years, New York (Manhattan) and San Francisco. Here she continued working for Dutch television and radio. But it wasn’t until she was offered an opportunity to co-write a children’s book (Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls), and when she started her first creative writing course at Stanford University that she re-discovered a passion she’s had since she was a little girl: writing.
